Chris H. Patel MD

Dr. Patel grew up near Richmond, VA and founded Serenity Spine Center in 2019 in Savannah, GA after previously practicing in Fort Walton Beach/Destin, FL and Savannah, GA for 13 years.
He earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Psychology and graduated with honors from Duke University in 1998 and proceeded to obtain his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in 2002.
He completed his internship, anesthesiology residency, and pain fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia, a program recognized for its training in interventional pain management and regional anesthesia for the treatment of complex, chronic pain problems.
He founded Serenity Spine Center based on a vision for a more comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to pain management to insure that each patient has the optimal individualized treatment plan that current medical technology can provide.
In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and can often be found running down the streets of Savannah chasing after his dogs.
